TSUKIJI KITCHEN is more than a place to eat — it’s a place to connect. Our space blends a seafood kitchen, coffee corner, and community hub. The name “KITCHEN” reflects not only cooking seafood, but also “cooking culture ”and “ cooking connections” — a space where food and learning bring people and the community together.
How does fresh seafood travel from Japan to Vancouver?
A lot of the magic boils down to technical know-how and decades of experience. Today, Takuya-san will show you the journey that your seafood takes before arriving at your door. Although there are even more secrets to the trade, we hope that you will learn a few things and become more interested in the wonderful world of seafood.
