Fish roe is not all the same.
At first glance, many types of roe look similar — but differences in species, ocean environment, harvest timing, and processing methods create completely unique flavors, aromas, and textures.
In this guided tasting session, we will explore four varieties of roe:
Hokkaido Ikura (Salmon Roe)
Hokkaido Kazunoko (Herring Roe)
Alaska Spicy Mentaiko (Pollock Roe with Green Chili)
