About the event
Seafood tasting, Onigiri and Miso soup included!
Most of us use the word Salmon without realizing how many species, life cycles, and ecological differences exist behind that single name. In this session, we explore the world of salmon through tasting and learning. As we taste 3 types of salmon, we will dive into topics such as:
The difference between Salmon and Trout (サケとマス in Japanese)
How wild and farm-raised salmon develop unique characteristics
What determines the color, texture, and fat of salmon
Takuya will share everything clearly, drawing from his experience at Tsukiji Fish Market and the perspective of marine biology.
