About the event
Special seafood bowl is included!
Salmon and trout are often confused — and in some cases, they are closely related.
In this session of Ask Takuya, we explore the biological background behind salmon and trout, including how they are classified and why some species are called differently despite their similarities. Takuya will also explain the commercial side of the story: how marketing, farming practices, and regional standards influence what we call “salmon” or “trout” in stores and restaurants. By understanding both the science and the business behind these names, you’ll gain a clearer picture of what you’re actually buying — and how to choose seafood with confidence.
